Is this going to be a regular thing? 16 seems like a low number of participants. I am comfortable riding but maybe more maintenance workshops would be good?
And just a note, it should be “led by”, not “lead by”.
Hi, Darcy. I spoke with Julie Anderson, and she is wanting classes like this to be held on a regular basis in the very near future. She had to cap this class at 16 because the student to instructor ratio needs to be low. Look for more classes, hopefully sooner than later!
I am unsure of future maintenance classes offered by the City of Denton. I know that Sprockets and Querencia has offered some in the past. I would like to see more of them, too. Thanks for asking.
Good eye on the grammar mistake. Thank you.
This class will be taught by two Denton Police Department officers and Justin Stewart, not by Julie Anderson as I misunderstood initially. Julie is overseeing the workshop. I am sorry for the miscommunication. – Doug
Hey,
This sounds fun! If you’d like, you could swing by the Querencia shop to say hello!

This sounds like a really good opportunity! I would definitely like to take advantage of this, as I am still relatively new to bike riding and lack the skills and confidence to ride my bike in traffic. However, I have a test scheduled for that day for a course I’m taking. Please do let us know if there will be future classes offered some time later in May, as I would definitely like to take advantage of the opportunity to become a better cyclist.
Thanks for the commenting. Keep your eyes open for future cycling classes!
